Googaby’s uses a three segment version number. We launched with version 1.0.0.
The third digit is a bug fix version - no new features (e.g. 1.0.3 is currently available to users)
The second digit is a minor update - new features are introduced (e.g. 1.1.0 is in development)
The first digit is a major product revision - major features and the possibility converting data to a new format (e.g. a few ideas for 2.0.0 are in place)
Bug fix AND minor versions are free to existing owners of that major version.
Existing owners will always receive a significant discount on upgrading to a new major version.
